- The Hertfordshire-based boarding and day school describes itself as “the UK’s leading performing and academic school”. Pupils benefit from an “outstanding academic education” while specialising in dance, musical theatre, acting and commercial music. The school was founded in 1939 and its main building, Tring Park Mansion, was built to a 1685 design by Sir Christopher Wren.
- The school day is approximately a 50:50 split between academic learning and performance instruction.
- Tring offers a number of scholarships to new pupils every year with a fee remission of up to 10 per cent. In exceptional cases the school may be able to offer financial assistance to pupils if their families have a change in circumstances.
