About the school

  • Tradition and innovation are at the heart of this all-boys day and boarding school in Kent, where alumni include the historian and author Sir Anthony Seldon and the actor Dan Stevens.
  • In 2024 more than 670 university offers were made to upper-sixth boys, with 23 students heading to Oxbridge and 95 per cent joining Russell Group and international universities. The sixth-form curriculum is inspired by skills that the World Economic Forum identifies as having the greatest value in today’s workplaces, and pupils are offered personalised careers guidance.
  • Boys are encouraged to participate in a range of co-curricular activities: about half learn a musical instrument and the choral tradition is strong. Outreach activities include the weekly community action programme, for which 120 pupils volunteer in other schools.
  • Additional language qualifications are on offer for those who do not want to commit to a full A-level.
  • Bursaries, scholarships and other financial help is available.
