- A coeducational free school in southwest London, the academy was established in 2015 — governed by a partnership that includes the local authority and Kingston University. It has 1,200 pupils.
- The academy’s motto is “Going beyond what schools ordinarily do”, and a programme is aimed at developing the whole person, with activities such as martial arts, film production, outdoor education, leadership skills, first aid, debating, robotics and community outreach.
- In 2024, the school celebrated its best A-level results to date, with more than one third of students achieving A*/A grades. Three students gained places at Oxford or Cambridge, including two accepted to study medicine.
- The school has built a rich network of contacts with local businesses, which provide opportunities for networking, mock interviews, workshops and valuable experience.
