- The Hollyfield School was founded as Surbiton Central School in 1937 and in 1966 moved to its current site. Today it educates about 1,200 boys and girls aged 11 to 18 and is part of the Every Child, Every Day Academy Trust.
- The school’s three houses are Eagle, Falcon and Osprey, and the system around which they revolve plays an important role in the life of the school.
- Enrichment clubs and activities range from anime to Lego, computing and Warhammer to eco club, a number of musical ensembles and both recreational and competitive sport.
- In addition to traditionally studied A-level subjects, a number of BTecs are available to sixth-formers, including those in media, enterprise, and health and social care. The Extended Project Qualification is also offered.
