- The school has shared a 104-acre campus with the Haberdashers’ Elstree Girls’ School for more than 50 years, but until recently the schools operated separately. Since 2021, all sixth-form pupils have at least one mixed class.
- Habs Boys’ main building, the grade II* listed Aldenham House, was built in 1672.
- It was formerly called Haberdashers’ Aske’s School, after Robert Aske, a merchant whose bequest to the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers founded the school.
- Sporting facilities include seven rugby/football pitches, a 25m indoor pool, two squash courts, a climbing wall, a shooting range, three grass cricket squares and three artificial wickets with nets, and an indoor cricket centre, with bowling machines and video replays.
- Among many Old Haberdashers of note are the comedians David Baddiel, Sacha Baron Cohen and Matt Lucas, the racing driver Damon Hill and the broadcaster Alan Whicker.
