- An immersive educational experience for boys and girls aged 4-18 at the Grange School is built around an ethos of personal challenge and personal care. Founded in 1933 as a preparatory school, it opened a senior element in 1978.
- A £6 million sports centre, which opened in 2019, provides top-class netball, cricket, badminton, indoor hockey, football and basketball facilities and a professional climbing wall. Pupils share the fitness centre with the community in the semi-rural village of Hartford in Cheshire.
- Rowing is a big part of the school’s sporting provision – and a way to teach discipline, camaraderie and personal discovery for 150 pupils who belong to the thriving club. The school has 14 coaches, 70 boats and a boathouse on the River Weaver.
- Focus on individual pupils starts early with one teacher for every 12 pupils in the junior school. The rewards in 2024 included record A-level results, with 82 per cent of grades achieving A*-B.
- The senior school awards a number of bursaries for reduced fees at the start of each academic year for pupils applying for admission to year 7 and year 12.
