- Pupils who are recognised as being exceptionally able in several subjects can be a part of the Aspire programme, which provides participating students with the chance to share their ideas with other high-ability pupils from other classes, and stretch themselves in challenging tutorials.
- Trips include work experience in Madrid, exchanges in Cadiz, and visits to Barcelona, Paris, Auschwitz and the First World War battlefields. Many have seized the opportunity to see orchestral, drama and music productions, and to go skiing.
- The list of extracurricular groups covers almost anything students might be interested in — music, languages, coding, debating, architecture, card games, gardening, art and jewellery making — not to mention there is also a full range of sports on offer.
