- The Charter School describes its curriculum as “desirably difficult” and “coherently sequenced”. It aims to approach every student with the right combination of challenge and support.
- The relatively young school, which serves East Dulwich and South Camberwell, was established in 2016 and moved to a new permanent campus in 2025, previously the site of the Dulwich Community Hospital. Southwark Council made a £6.55 million contribution towards the development of a specialist autistic spectrum disorder resource centre, which provides up to 25 places.
- From its humble beginnings on a temporary site with 120 students, the school is now oversubscribed and educates more than 1,400 pupils.
- Alongside an excellent academic reputation — in 2025 the school celebrated its best GCSE and A-level results yet — the school focuses on the whole student, offering a varied and interesting extracurricular programme. In one year more than 250 pupils completed the bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
