What the school inspection says

Verdict
Excellent
“The school’s vision and ethos are inspired by its values of courage, truth and joy ... The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent ... Pupils display high levels of self-confidence both with their work in lessons and in their lives beyond the classroom … They set themselves targets, assess ways of achieving these and determine when they know they have succeeded. They accept the pressure that comes with high personal expectations ... Pupils are genuinely supportive of each other ... The quality of pupils’ self-assessment skills would benefit from greater opportunities for reflection during lessons.” There was a short visit in 2022.
