About the school

SCGSG was founded in 1929 and has a partnership with the nearby Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School.
The six houses are named after constellations: Aquila, Cygnus, Delphinus, Pegasus, Phoenix and Ursa.
The school song is Beauty by John Masefield and the badge is the Tudor rose of Henry VIII – the symbol of Sutton Coldfield.
