About the school

  • Alumnae of this Oxfordshire day school include Samantha Cameron and The Times journalist Alice Thomson.
  • About 90 per cent of pupils gained a place at their first-choice university in 2024, and the new sixth form centre gives girls a taste of the independence to come.
  • There are more than 100 clubs and societies plus an array of orchestras, bands, and choirs. About 300 music lessons are taught each week.
  • Girls add to their A-levels one or two options from the St Katharine’s Study programme, which includes courses such as Arabic, ethics for scientists, the Extended Project Qualification and Mandarin.
  • Scholarships recognising ability are offered alongside means-tested bursaries.
