About the school

  • St George’s Ascot is a girls’ day and boarding school in Berkshire and the alma mater of Princess Beatrice.
  • A state-of-the-art recording studio has recently opened, and the school is making consistent environmental progress after installing nearly 300 solar panels and a number of electric vehicle charging bays.
  • Compulsory after-school activities form a core part of the day. Sports include lacrosse, football, tennis and cricket, while clubs cover interests ranging from Model UN to podcasts and architecture. Participation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme is encouraged, and the school offers domestic and international trips. 
  • Student wellbeing is supported by a range of networks, including peer counsellors, school counsellors and the chaplain.
  • The school offers the Extended Project Qualification alongside A-levels.
