- Founded in 1967, St Benedict’s Catholic School is a coeducational school with almost 1,000 pupils.
- As part of the school’s drive to promote the importance of books, three “reading weeks” are run every year, during which pupils encounter a “diverse range of reading materials in their lessons” and experience additional extracurricular activities that are accordingly themed.
