- A coeducational sixth form was introduced in 2020 at this girls’ grammar, where pupils are encouraged to help each other to learn. “Be kind, be involved, be aspirational” is the school’s edict. The GCSE curriculum includes astronomy and students can choose from 27 courses at A-level.
- An active drama department draws in large numbers to participate in whole-school productions. Musical students can learn an instrument and take their pick from two orchestras, a wind band, a jazz band and three choirs. A choral concert is held annually, often in Salisbury Cathedral. Students’ artwork is showcased in the Young Gallery in Salisbury and in national competitions.
- The school competes in Oxford and Cambridge Schools' Debating Competitions and the ESU Churchill Public Speaking Competition.
- More than 50 clubs cover a range of sports and interests, from Dungeons and Dragons, to chess and the pond club.
