- Ruislip High School first opened in 2006 with a single intake of year 7 pupils; at the official opening in March 2007, a time capsule was buried in the grounds.
- Headteacher Gareth Davies describes the school as “a genuinely comprehensive school,” one at which “high expectations ensure students reach our high aspirations and realise their undoubted potential”.
- The school’s “Above and Beyond award” recognises pupils who take up a particularly wide range of extracurricular activities across the categories of community, physical, creativity and culture.
- Alongside traditional A-level subjects, sixth-formers can study for a number of vocational courses, including BTecs in sport and health and social care.
- In 2025, 50 per cent of A-level entries were grade A*-B, and 87 per cent of applicants achieved places at their first or second choice university, 27 per cent of which were Russell Group institutions.
