- Founded in 1844, Rossall School is a day and boarding school for boys and girls located on the Lancashire coast.
- British pupils account for 70 per cent of the overall roll, with international students from 70 countries making up the other 30 per cent.
- Rossall is the only school in the UK to have its own astronomy centre and observatory, and offers excellent facilities for golf, football, dance, art and music, including a dedicated piano academy that took delivery of 12 Steinway pianos in 2021.
- The school appointed Andrew McBride, previously deputy head at the Royal Grammar School Newcastle, as its new headmaster in March 2025.
