About the school

  • The school motto is “Cherishing the past, looking to the future”, reflecting its ambition to “combine tradition with a modern, forward-thinking approach to education”. Alumni include Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan. 
  • More than 90 per cent of students achieved a place at their first-choice university in 2024, while sporting successes have included RGS rowing crews competing in the National Schools’ Regatta championship finals.
  • There are 250 clubs and societies including the gardening club, which designs and builds a show garden for the RHS Malvern Spring Festival every year.
  • Form tutors, heads of years and senior pastoral leaders support pupils in addition to the PSHE programme, and the medical centre is staffed with counsellors and peer mentors.
  • A range of scholarships acknowledges talents, while means-tested bursaries can cover up to 100 per cent of fees.
