What the school inspection says

Date of report
2016
Verdict
Excellent
“The school aims to create a happy, caring environment within which pupils are educated in the fullest sense so as to realise their full potential. The school is highly successful in meeting its aim of encouraging pupils to start achieving to their full potential, academically and in other spheres. This is strongly supported by excellent teaching. Pupils’ academic attainment is above the national average … [and] the more able pupils make good progress in line with their ability. Pupils throughout the school participate enthusiastically in the wide programme of extracurricular activities and achieve considerable success. [They] have well-developed personalities for their ages, with self-esteem and confidence in their personal worth.” There was a regulatory compliance visit in 2019 and a routine inspection in 2023.
