- The co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 4-18 is Catholic but welcomes all faiths. As such, the Religious Studies GCSE is compulsory.
- The headmaster James Neville, who moves to Loughborough Grammar School in February 2025, says: “We aim to add an average of one grade at GCSE and a half-grade at A-Level to every pupil’s results, thereby equalling the academic achievements of the very best schools in the country.”
- Loughborough Amherst is proud of its “All-Steinway” status, which gives pupils access to the finest pianos. Other facilities in the music department include two top-of-the-range recording studios.
