- “Educating the changemakers of the future” is the goal of this girls’ senior school. Founded in 1879, King’s High is predominantly a day school. Sixth-formers have been able to board since 2023 and the school introduced boarding from year 9 in September 2025.
- After 140 years on its original site, it recently moved over the River Avon to its new 55-acre Project One Campus, which includes a professional-standard music school, theatre and a wide array of sporting facilities. There, it has joined Warwick Preparatory School and Warwick School, fellow members of the Warwick Schools Foundation, a group committed to offering the best possible education inside and outside the classroom.
- The headmaster Dr Stephen Burley was named best head of a public school in the Tatler Schools Guide Awards 2025.
- The co-curricular programme includes 230 weekly activities, while the Changemaker Award in year 9 encourages community responsibility and Future Ready courses (in years 10 and 11) teach pupils about social justice, global citizenship and law. In 2023 the school became the inaugural winner of the Independent Schools Association’s Future Readiness award.
- Old girls include the Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner and the historian Dr Helen Castor.
