- KEGS’ vision is for pupils to explore the furthest reaches of their intellectual, creative, physical and emotional capabilities, and to become principled global citizens.
- All KEGS students begin year 12 studying four A-levels, with many also completing an Extended Project Qualification.
- A range of lunchtime and after-school clubs and activities includes orchestras and choirs, ensembles, concerts, musicals and plays. There are regular sports fixtures at local and national level in rugby, cricket, football, tennis, athletics, basketball, badminton and table tennis.
- Notable alumni include the prizewinning artist Sir Grayson Perry, the consultant virologist Dr Chris Smith, who wrote The Naked Scientist, and the Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas.
