- Coeducational Kent College was founded in 1885 as a boys’ public school and has been admitting boys and girls for the past 50 years.
- In addition to GCSEs, IGCSEs and A-levels, Kent offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Cambridge Technicals as part of its curriculum.
- In 2016, the school opened an international campus in Meydan City, Dubai, and Kent College West Cairo, the second international partner school, opened in 2022.
- Scholarships are available for academic achievement, for art, design and technology, drama, music and sport, as well as for IB students in the sixth form. Sibling discounts are offered, and children of Methodist ministers are entitled to a 10 per cent fee remission in the form of the Methodist Minister’s Allowance.
- The former Conservative MP Sir John Redwood, the former Labour MP Natascha Engel and the architect Ptolemy Dean are among the school’s alumni.
