- A £4 million project to add seven classrooms and extra outdoor space is under way to update the £60 million campus in Notting Hill, west London, which opened in 2014. A professional theatre and recording studio back up curriculum strengths in this specialist performing and creative arts academy which selects 10 per cent of Year 7 pupils according to aptitude in the performing arts.
- As well as partnerships with the Royal Academy of Dance and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (Lamda), the academy has links with the independent schools Godolphin and Latymer and Charterhouse . Pupils enjoy benefits such as extra tuition, theatre visits and mock university interviews.
- The academy offers subsidised lessons to learn a musical instrument and all students are encouraged to take part.
- In the shadow of Grenfell Tower, KAA had to temporarily relocate after the fire in 2017 and has pledged to ensure that any demolition work will not disrupt school life.
- The school has an inclusion centre for up to 27 autistic students.
