- The first state boarding school to open under the free school programme has notched up its first decade. A sixth form was added in 2017 at the college in Berkshire.
- The intake is all-ability in Years 7-11 and the sixth form is academically selective. Forty per cent of pupils are boarders and the school is sponsored by Eton College, which shares some of its sports facilities, such as rowing at Eton Dorney. Holyport pupils also benefit from design technology sessions and attend talks from guest speakers through the partnership.
- A huge range of activities is on offer, from traditional team sports to American football and yoga, and music, dance and drama. Pupils can try something new through a host of clubs.
- The careers programme incorporates work experience in Year 12.
