- Harris Academy Chafford Hundred prides itself on offering a rich and varied curriculum that covers subjects such as Mandarin, Latin and ancient history.
- As a member of the Harris Federation , a group of 55 primary and secondary academies in and around London set up by the Carpetright founder Lord Harris of Peckham, pupils also benefit from inter-academy events, Federation-wide sports days, and the Harris Experience — a cultural and academic enhancement programme for the most able secondary school students to shape future leaders and prepare pupils for top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. Students are exposed to cultural experiences, ranging from world-class art auctioneering with Christie’s Auctioneers to a trip to the Royal Opera House and a day of science in action at Imperial College.
- The personal development curriculum offers a range of clubs, societies and trips, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, a football academy, a netball academy, and the school’s Combined Cadet Force.
