About the school

  • In 2023 Hampton School, in partnership with Lady Eleanor Holles School and Reach Academy, founded Feltham College — a pioneering sixth form offering transformative opportunities to local young people.
  • Hampton offers a thriving programme of over 110 clubs and societies, catering to all interests, from Lego robotics to beekeeping. Pupils have the opportunity to explore these activities during an extended 90-minute lunch break.
  • The school’s facilities include 27 acres of fields and the Millennium Boathouse on the River Thames. Many boys achieve sporting honours at both county and national levels.
  • The drama department stages productions for all ages in its 380-seat professional theatre. Musicians perform in more than 30 ensembles and the school boasts seven choirs. Hampton also organises a wide-ranging programme of talks from inspirational speakers, while hundreds of pupils pursue the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at bronze, silver and gold levels each year.
  • In the 2024-25 academic year 107 Hamptonians benefited from free school places covering fees, uniforms, lunches, travel, trips and music lessons. Additional financial support is available through bursaries. An educational charity, the Fitzwygram Foundation, works alongside the school to increase the number of free places available. Scholarships in academics, art, chess, music, performing arts and sport are awarded at ages 11 and 13. Choral scholarships are also available to boys joining at 11, awarded in partnership with the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court Palace.
