They take the initiative with their studies and are highly motivated and aspirational in all areas ... They make very good use of the opportunities given to them to reflect on their own learning, increasing in confidence as they make their way through the school ... About the school

  • The roll call of alumnae of the West London girls’ day school includes Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Davina McCall and Nigella Lawson. Ninety-four per cent of its 2024 leavers achieved a place at their first-choice university — but the school prides itself on an education that goes beyond examination success.
  • There is a sport offering for all abilities, and girls compete nationally in rowing and hockey.
  • There is a similar focus on music with choral, instrumental, and orchestral groups performing in venues including Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral, while other extracurricular clubs include the politics society.
  • Music and art scholarships are available, as well as means-tested bursaries, of which 10 per cent of students are in receipt.
  • Godolphin and Latymer participates in the Bridge Programme, which helps to widen access to the school; eight girls joined Year 7 this way in 2024.
