What the school inspection says

“There are high expectations of pupils. They are provided with extensive opportunities and strong pastoral care, both of which enable them to flourish. Pupils take part in an array of events, trips, workshops and clubs. They lead charity initiatives and community-based projects to instil a keen sense of responsibility and empathy for others. Pupils receive an excellent education. They develop a strong body of knowledge and are prepared well for their next steps. This includes pupils with Send, who achieve highly, alongside their peers. Respect and resilience are core values.”

*Ofsted no longer makes an overall effectiveness judgment in inspections of state-funded schools. A five-point grading scale, including a new “exceptional” grade was introduced in November 2025.
