- Egglescliffe’s enrichment provision is based around eight areas — challenge, wellbeing, employability, communication, leadership, community, creativity and excellence. Clubs include the Pride group, a range of musical ensembles, robotics and Warhammer club, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is also offered.
- The school has its own “scholar award”, which is designed to provide enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom. Pupils can select aspects of the programme that are of particular interest to them; these range from university visits to completing independent learning.
- Sixth-formers are offered a choice of both A-levels, including in economics and philosophy, and BTecs in information technology, health and social care and criminology. In 2025, 25 per cent of A-level grades achieved were A*-A, with 79 per cent A*-C.
