- Mixed comprehensive Devizes School educates boys and girls aged 11 to 18 and has almost 1,000 pupils on roll. It is part of the White Horse Federation whose mission is to inspire “every child to flourish through an inclusive, all-through education that nurtures opportunity, equity, and agency for life”.
- The school’s inclusion team visits each primary school that is sending pupils with a SEND need to Devizes before they arrive in order to ensure a smooth transition.
- Enrichment opportunities include whittling club, Dungeons & Dragons, crochet club, debate club and a number of sporting and musical groups.
- Sixth-formers can study for A-levels, BTecs and Cambridge Technicals in a range of subjects, with the Extended Project Qualification an AS level option. Support is given for applying for vocational courses beyond school and for higher education at universities nationwide.
