- Established in 1883, Denmark Road is a girls’ grammar school with a coeducational sixth form. In 2021 Ofsted rated it as good.
- Sixth formers access the Discover+ scheme which offers a range of subjects for study “beyond the constraints of exam specifications”, including British Sign Language, fashion illustration and games development. The Extended Project Qualification is also offered as part of the 3+1 model for sixth form subject choices.
- The school is partnered with New College, Oxford and pupils can access the Step Up programme which is focussed on improving the success of applications to Oxford and Cambridge.
- In 2024 83 per cent of sixth form leavers went to university, and 56 per cent of those to Russell Group institutions.
