What the school inspection says

Date of report
2022
Verdict
Excellent-good
“The school aims for its pupils to recognise that achievement is nothing unless it is underpinned by a moral sense of worth. Pupils of all ages reach good levels of attainment overall in lessons, work, and public examinations. The development of pupils’ knowledge, understanding and skills across all areas of learning is good. [They] demonstrate good study skills, and in some subjects areas they have developed good higher-order skills. Pupils’ achievements in non-academic areas, including in sport, drama and music, are excellent. Pupils’ excellent attitudes towards their learning are a key factor in assuring their high levels of achievement. [They] are motivated to succeed … [and] have excellent levels of self-confidence and high levels of self-understanding.” There wasan additional inspection in 2024.
