About the school

  • A programme for Year 13 students allows them to experience living independently and practise managing day-to-day tasks to prepare for leaving home.
  • Extracurricular activities include drama, music, art, painting, Cantonese, cookery, debating, French cinema, philosophy and many more, as well as the Combined Cadet Force and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
  • In addition to support provided by the school’s counsellor and nurses, pupils can be trained as mentors to help one another with academic and social issues. More than 30 students in the sixth form have also been trained in mental health first aid.
  • Means-tested bursaries are available for those who need financial assistance, as well as hardship funds for those already at the school.
