- The school opened in 1713 as a “bluecoat” charity school attached to St Mary Magdalene church. Pupils still wear blue blazers today.
- The St Mary Magdalene CofE school merged with Edward the Confessor Catholic school in 1978 to form the present-day Christ’s School.
- Pupils are assorted into houses that are named after notable people who have connections with Richmond: Attenborough, Dickens, Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth I) and Turing.
- The school has its own podcast, as well as a newsletter.
- Former pupils include the R&B singer Estelle and the football players Jason Roberts and Clinton Morrison.
