- The academy, whose pupils come from the Cotswolds market town and dozens of its surrounding villages and hamlets, will celebrate its centenary in 2028.
- Admissions priority is given to children who live in the catchment area and those who attend its ten feeder primary schools.
- Four houses represent the school’s core values of compassion, courage, curiosity and creativity.
- The library is a hub of activity, open before and after school. Students are given time to read during the day and can join a weekly book club, become a library helper or attend the daily homework club.
- A careers programme begins in year 7 with sessions on employability skills and an enterprise challenge, and culminates in the sixth form with CV workshops, one-to-one interviews and university tours.
