Pupils reach excellent levels of attainment … Pupils are keen to make progress and their overwhelmingly strong attitudes towards their learning are a key factor in assuring their success. They demonstrate excellent self-confidence and self-understanding. Pupils are socially conscious and enjoy celebrating each other’s successes by valuing everyone’s efforts in the classroom. About the school

  • From its verdant 100 acres with far-reaching views to the City of London, this mixed day school with a small number of sixth-form boarders has been encouraging happiness and achievement in its pupils for nearly 400 years. All eyes are on the big anniversary in 2029.
  • Facilities include a sport and wellness centre, numerous football and cricket pitches, netball and tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool and exclusive grounds for Old Chigwellians.
