- It has been the top school in the UK for A-level results for more than a decade, and is one of the best globally. It was awarded Sunday Times Parent Power Independent Secondary School of the Year for Academic Performance in Wales 2025.
- Extracurricular groups range from cooking to K-pop and the successful Nasa club, which regularly participates in the UK Space Design Competition.
- In 2022 CSFC opened a second campus in Cambridge, where the first cohort of students took their A-levels in summer 2024.
