- One of the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) 24 independent girls’ schools, Bromley High School says its pupils have space to “breathe and grow” in 25 acres of grounds and playing fields in southeast London.
- The school’s mission is to combine 140 years of tradition with a focus on the future, offering “learning without limits” for girls aged 4-18.
- Emily Codling, the headmistress, describes the school’s curriculum as “creative and cutting edge”, championing girls’ ambitions and achievement in and beyond the classroom.
- Girls have access to the GDST’s bursary scheme as well as opportunities to apply for the school’s own scholarships. In 2024, the Minerva scholarship was launched, aiming to empower girls to become influential voices in public speaking and debating.
- Old girls include the Labour politician Margaret Hodge.
