- Becket Keys opened in 2012 and was the first CofE secondary school to be established as part of the government’s free schools programme.
- A revamped £2.5 million sports hall opened in 2018, including Olympic-standard flooring, a 4G AstroTurf grass pitch and tennis courts.
- The school runs an impressive itinerary of trips, such as a year 7 bushcraft residential, year 8 language trips to Spain and China, and a surfing adventure in Cornwall.
- Pupils are expected to join at least one club from the 80 on offer, which span sports, drama and musical options as well as a crafting club, Warhammer society and gardening.
- Students follow a core programme of eight GCSEs, including three sciences, either Mandarin or Spanish, and a humanities subject or religion and philosophy. Among the options available are art, business, computer science, drama, and physical education.
