- Coeducational Beaumont School was founded in 1938 and educates more than 1,600 children. New school buildings have been developed in recent years and plans are underway for new music, art and drama facilities.
- A wide range of extracurricular and study-support clubs and activities are offered, including chess, computer, science and reading clubs. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is also supported.
- Sixth form pupils can choose to study for Cambridge Technicals in business or sport, the Extended Project Qualification, and a level 3 BTec in media in addition to their A-levels.
- A partnership with two neighbouring schools to enhance sixth-form provision means that textiles, dance, English language, music technology and product design can also be studied in the sixth form. In 2025 37 per cent of A-level grades achieved were A*-A, with 66 per cent grades A*-B.
