About the school

  • Sport and fitness provision gives every student the opportunity to engage in healthy lifestyle choices, from PE and games, curriculum, recreation, house competition to representing the school. Swimming is an integral part of the Key Stage 3 curriculum, providing essential swimming skills to all students. 
  • As well as clubs, school trips have included visits to London, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Sussex, France, Germany, Spain, the US and Malawi.
  • A new centre for student support opened in September 2023.
  • Also on offer is the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Sports Leaders Level 3 and the Engineering Education Scheme.
