- Abbey College Manchester is part of the Abbey DLD Colleges Group which also has institutions in London and Cambridge.
- Open since 1990, the college offers GCSEs, A-levels including accounting, environmental science and fashion and textile design alongside more traditional subjects, and its own Combined Studies Programme.
- International students can take the International Foundation Programme pathway in preparation for direct entry to British universities.
- The college offers professional sports programmes with coaching in football, cycling and tennis, with training offered alongside the academic subject programmes. The college believes that “the discipline of sport helps support academic study in the form of the five Rs: routine, rigour, responsibility, resilience and reflection.”
- Accommodation can be arranged — either with a host family or in Clydesdale House, the student residence where students have their own en-suite rooms and share a socialising space.
